Child Food Poverty

What Is It?

Every child has the right to a nutritious diet. Yet many factors, such as conflict, climate change and the global food crisis, tend to deprive them of this right, and plunge them into food poverty.

According to UNICEF, child food poverty is defined as the inability of children to access and consume nutritious and diversified foods during early childhood.

We all have a role to play in combating child malnutrition and food poverty.

As parents, let's focus on improving our children's access to a good, nutritious, and diversified diet.

Let's not forget that good nutrition is the cornerstone of a child's development.
